Main points of "Thailand Re-opening" meeting of the Association of Thai Travel Agents on 22 Dec 2021

The Tourism Association of Ko Samui participated in the “Thailand Re-opening” meeting with the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) on 22 Dec 2021, the main points are as follows:

1️. "Test & Go" scheme is being suspended from 22 Dec – 4 Jan 2022. (Will be reconsidered on 2-4 Jan 2022)

2️. Applicants who have received their Thailand Pass QR Code can enter Thailand under the scheme they have registered.

3️. Passengers who will arrive in Thailand under Test and Go and Sandbox Programme must undergo their 2nd COVID-19 test using the RT-PCR technique (not ATK self-test) at government-designated facilities (no additional cost).

4. Cooperation from every visitor to download the “Mohchana” Application

5. After 22 Dec 2021, visitors can enter Thailand under 2 schemes:

5.1) Phuket Sandbox (same conditions as below: 7 nights in Phuket, 2 PCR tests and then can leave Phuket to other parts of Thailand, can change hotel only once)

5.2) Alternative Quarantine (AQ) (Same conditions)

If there are no severe infections of the Omicron variant in the near future (considering a number of infections), the “Test & Go” scheme will be considered to resume after 4 Jan 2022.

6. There's no prohibition of alcohol sales.
