2nd PCR Test (Test & Go / Sandbox) at Ko Samui Hospital
Since the 2nd PCR Test is currently required for Test & Go and Sandbox scheme on Day 5-6 and many people have asked where to do the test. Here's where and how to get the 2nd PCR Test on the island.
WHERE to get a test in Samui?
For Test & Go's 2nd test on Day 5-6, you need to come with a Test & Go certificate issued by your SHA+ hotel in order to get the service 'Free of Charge' at Ko Samui Hospital. (For the Sandbox, it's prepaid)
Right outside the parking area of the hospital, you'll see a big blue tent with a sign for the COVID test. There is a fast lane on the right side as shown in the photo for Test & Go / Samui Plus Sandbox.
HOW to get a test?
You only need to bring a certificate issued from your SHA+ with your passport when coming for a test. They will make a copy of your passport and ask you to write the phone number and your SHA+ 's name and that's it. Good to go for the test.
( ** In the case of the 2nd test of Test & Go, it's currently Free of charge)
OPERATION TIME :
08:30-11:30 (If you come after 11:30, FYI they are literally closed for a lunch break and you'll be asked to come back at 1 pm)
13:00-16:00
** Otherwise, no waiting time** (Well, 5-10 mins to be fair)
HOW TO COLLECT THE TEST RESULT?
Be glad to get no call from an official after the test which means you are Negative. If Positive, you will get a call from the hospital within the next day.
If you need a result certificate, 700 THB additional fee
You may also check on your "Morchana" application if it turns Red = Positive. Other colors (Green, Yellow, Orange) = Negative.
