Villa Layout

Designed over three levels, you enter Suralai’s gated entrance from the top. Steps descend towards the main living and dining area. One level below sit three identical double bedrooms and a walkway connects to an adjoining pavilion that holds two master bedrooms and one twin bedroom.

Stairs descend on both sides of the villa into the lawned-garden and pool terrace with a 25-metre infinity pool. At one end, you will find an imposing, Thai-style sala with wide comfortable daybeds, a dining table for up to 10, buffet and a swim-up bar. A separate staircase leads to a fully equipped gym.

Indoor living

The living pavilion is an expansive dining and entertainment space, forming the social hub of the villa.

The staff encourages you to enjoy breakfast on the cool, shaded terrace as you admire stunning views of the sea and mountains. Gather around the long, white island bar for sunset cocktails before sitting down for dinner at the villa’s magnificent dining table that can accommodate up to 16 guests.

A black-gloss and chrome, western-style show kitchen forms a striking backdrop for the bar counter which is set with high stools for casual dining and easy socialising.

The Hollywood-style lounge is accented with a sumptuous white leather L-shaped sofa and easy chairs are scattered around a 75-inch flat-screen satellite Smart TV.

Wraparound floor-to-ceiling glass doors connect to the wide terrace for seamless indoor and outdoor living, ideal for entertaining and special events such as weddings.

Outdoor living

Suralai has been designed to maximise on its spectacular views from every aspect. By day, the changing colours of the sea mesmerise – this is how the locals tell the time – and evenings are lit by blazing, tangerine skies as the sun dips majestically over the horizon.

The top-level terrace, which wraps around the living and dining pavilion, is furnished with an informal dining table for up to 10 guests and groups of large, comfortable rattan chairs are designed for relaxed socialising.

A wide, sand-washed terrace, furnished with comfortable sun loungers and sun umbrellas, borders the 25-metre infinity pool.

At one end, steps lead into a fan-cooled sunken sala with a vaulted ceiling and wide, cushioned daybeds, which surround another dining table for up to 10 guests. A swim-up bar with sunken bar stools makes this the hub of outdoor life at the villa.

Extending from the pool terrace, a manicured lawn is lined with palms trees, making it an ideal outdoor venue for parties and intimate weddings.

Bedrooms

Six spacious, luxuriously furnished ensuite bedrooms are stylishly designed with ceramic-tiled floors in cool grey to complement light grey textured walls. Elegant dark-wood furniture is accentuated with Thai silk cushions and accessories in vivid colours.

All rooms are air-conditioned with generous wardrobe and storage space, a personal safe and cotton kimonos for your use.
